Pastor Donald Cotten

Pastor Donald Cotten is a native of Scottsboro, Alabama. He received his B.A. from Samford University, Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry degree from Luther Rice Seminary.

Dr. Cotten is married to the former Alva Dale Johnson. They have three children, Melanie, Mary, and John David, and five grandchildren.

Dr. Cotten has preached in mission crusades in Nigeria and Brazil. He has written a number of articles for Southern Baptist publications, and in 1989, his sermons, Parables About Responding to Jesus were published in The Quarterly Review, a publication of the Southern Baptist Convention.

In 1998, he and his wife, Dale were featured speakers at a meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention called “Wounded Heroes.” He served on the Executive Committee of the Southern Baptist Convention for ten years.

 

Mike Foust

Mike Foust – Minister of Worship  Mike began singing at the very young age of 4. At the age of eight years, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior. Since that time he has felt God's call on his life to share God's message through song. He studied voice at Snead State Junior College and Auburn University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. He received an award for his singing ability from NATS (National Association of Teachers in Singing). He has served as Minister of Music in various churches in Marshall County over the last 20 years. He has been blessed to have sung all over the US, Canada and Europe. He believes that worship is an everyday thing. "By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually that is the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name." Hebrews 13:15. Mike and his son Micah currently live in Boaz, AL.

 

Todd Smart

 

Todd Smart – Student Minister Todd and his wife, Christina, joined The Fellowship in March of 2007 from Tuscumbia, AL. where he served at Calvary Baptist Church for 3 years as Music Minister.  Todd graduated from the University of North Alabama with a BSED in Physical Education.  Todd and Christina live in Albertville and have 3 children, Evie, Ella, and Eli.
